?? European Taekwondo Championships 2025 – Aigle Welcomes Europe’s Elite

In October 2025, the city of Aigle (Canton of Vaud, Switzerland) will become the epicentre of European sport by hosting the European Taekwondo Championships 2025. Sanctioned by the European Taekwondo Union (ETU) and supported by Swiss Taekwondo, this major international event will bring together over 1,000 athletes, coaches, officials and team members from more than 40countries.

Over the course of a full week, the Riviera–Chablais region will come alive with high-level competitions, cultural exchange and community involvement, all centred around the Olympic martial art of taekwondo — a sport that combines speed, skill, respect and discipline.

This championship will feature:

- the best junior and senior athletes from across Europe,

- electrifying Olympic-style combat with electronic scoring systems,

- hundreds of referees, coaches, and delegation members.

All competitions will take place at the World Cycling Centre in Aigle — a modern, easily accessible venue by public transport.
